Tick Tock

Tick tock Tick tock...This post is all about a CLOCK! (but the title also refers to my less than punctual blogging! I have been super busy and have not even shared the fun projects I have been working on. My apologies)

I have been looking for a clock to put on the vanity in the bathroom for quite a while now. I knew I wanted one that stands as opposed to having to hang on the wall. The only ones I could find that I liked were super duper expensive. So what is a girl to do? Hit up Goodwill of course!!

I found this beauty for 50 cents! It is the perfect size and I had a crazy idea that just might work...
(It did have the clock part but I asked Hubby to dismantle it before I got around to taking a picture. The back has a stand like an ordinary picture frame.)

I modpodged my favorite scrapbook paper onto the tile!
Since it will be on the bathroom counter, I applied several coats of ModPodge to protect it from water. When it was dry I re installed the clock part and...

TA DA!
I LOVE it!

It is the perfect addition! (Yup I'm using Instagram!)

I changed a few things around on the counter. I put our bamboo into a Ball Perfect Mason Jar.

I absolutely love our bathroom decor!

  12. What a pretty clock and cool idea. It's gotten me inspired. I'm new to crafting and trying to figure out what I want to start with. I'm interested in mod podge/decoupage and mason jar projects as of right now. I went to look for Mod Podge the other day on Amazon and there are so many different kinds, I'm not quite sure which one to go with. There's glossy, matte etc. Any suggestions?
