My Hobnail Hutch

Last year I found this baby on Craigslist.
I love all of the storage space we get with the 5 drawers and 2 cabinets with shelves.

I have quickly filled her up with my Fenton Hobnail milk glass collection :)

I wanted to add a few other pieces to break up all of the white. I got this sign on Etsy and it is our tradition to get one for all of our friends as they marry.

A few of my damask pieces from Hobby Lobby. The rest of the set is stored in the bottom cabinet.

Hobnail love!

I LOVE my stars and think they are the perfect contrast.
I love that they bring in a rustic quirk to all of the pretty Hobnail.

I got these hammered knobs from Hobby Lobby and have them on most of the pieces in our home.

I originally wanted to paint it but now I am not so sure. There are lots of details and crevices and I know this could be amazing. I am just not sure if my skills are up to that challenge yet!

Have you seen the amazing work over at Chrissie's Collection??
I adore this piece and would love to do something similar with our hutch.

I am suddenly into yellow and look at the combo of this yellow and that blue together!!
Chrissie, do you make house calls?? :)

  4. I really enjoyed looking at your hobnail milk glass collection. When I was a young girl, my grandmother starting giving me hobnail pieces as gifts for special occasions. I have an extensive collection now and continue to collect on my own. With a couple of exceptions, I think I may have nearly every piece in your awesome display. Thanks for sharing. You made my Monday.
