Decisions, decisions!

Hello friends!

I need your input on a few things I am considering doing around here.

Decision one-

I ran into Marshall's and found these lamps that I fell in love with.

For me, they are SUPER pricey so I really need to think about this. 

Do you think they would be the perfect match or are they too modern for our living room?

Decision two...

I bought this hutch with the intention of painting it black.

 I am so glad I didn't because my tastes have significantly changed since then!

But one thing is still the same- I HATE OAK!

I have been really itching to paint it again.

 I am thinking of this

The same color I used on the secretary desk.

What do you think???

This "Jade" and maybe stain the top of the buffet? Like these

  

Now that I compare these with the hutch, I think I kinda have to do this, right? :)
