Picture frame to Candle Holder!

Hello all! Hope everyone is having a nice weekend! I have a quick craft to share with you. My ADD kicked in again so there is no "before" picture!
I picked up this yucky gold picture frame from Goodwill that had a velvet picture that I am pretty sure was moldy!

Here you can see the original color. Yuck!
But that is ok because I had bigger plans for this picture frame. I knew it would soon have a new life as a candle holder! Bare with me...

I ripped everything off until I had a bare piece of wood. Then I modpodged on my favorite scrapbook paper. I lightly painted the frame using Krylon spray paint in Jade. (left over from a HUGE project I am excited to show you!!!!)

And voila! I love the ornate details and giving it one quick coat of paint let some of the gold show through.

Instant glazed effect!

Love the depth!
From ugly picture frame to chic candle holder!!!

Until next time, stay crafty my friends...
